    Imagine you could build whatever computer you want and the price of the components doesnt matter.
    I decided to ask this cos i saw a graphics card on komplett.ie for nearly 3 grand, who the hell buys a graphics card for 3 grand ??


    So come on, get dreaming, i want specs and prices(roughly).

    seen a graphics card in a mag once.

    made to order.

    iirc...the one I saw had 2 Gigs* of RAM onboard.

    * may not be 100 accurate

    i'd only really need around 4 grand to build the pc of my dreams, anything over that would be overkill.

    a nice scsi hd as the boot hd (...), a couple of decent 200gb ide hd's.

    1 dvd+rw & 1 dvd-rw drive

    a nice coolermaster case, like the atc 210b-vx1

    a geforce fx or radeon 9700 pro (or whatever the 2 follow ups to these are going to be)

    soundblaster audigy 2 platinum

    a decent nforce mobo & a couple of gigs of ram

    athalon xp 3k+ & a nice copper heatsink

    a decent 21"+ crt monitor (not really too fussed with tft's)

    come to think of it, i could easily spend over 10 grand on it:rolleyes:
