If you could only watch ONE Channel , what would it be ?

    hmmm.........

From my current selection, probably ..... hmm....tough choice ..... BBC 1, no ITV, then again....

I'll have to think about this a little more.

It would have to be either BBC2 or C4 certainly not ITV or BBC1, I'd proberly go with BBC2 if pushed...

network 2 used to be good when the soprano's were on & you'd get a half decent flick every thursday, it's gone to **** now tho...

i'd prolly choose sky premier, or maybe sky 1...........

Channel 4. They brought us such great dramas as The Sopranos and Oz, comedy like Spaced and Brass Eye Special and they have some cracking non-mainstream movies on too.

me thinks it would be Network 2, as it has The Simpsons, Scrubs, Friends, Sometimes Black Books And Father Ted, and good films the odd time. however, ch5's friday night schedule isnt too bad....;)

    N2

Only problem is News 2 during their movie on Thursdays. Why cann't they just show the movie at 9 and forget about showing friends again and again.

rte and n2, when the ads come on during the movie, the volume suddenly increases for that bit were they display the kitkat ad or whoever sponsors their movies, resulting in me having to abruptly turn it down which annoys the fock out of me

    My current selection -

    Network 2
    TV3
    TG4
    BBC 1
    BBC 2
    HTV (ITV Wales)
    S4C (Channel 4 Wales)
    CNN
    CNBC

    VIVA (German Music station)

Hard to imagine trying to make do with just one channel considering I have about 500 to choose from in various different languages.

I suppose though, Channel 4, due to its variety would get my vote.;)

    Network 2 :)

    Channel 4, definetly.

Probably the only channel worth anything these days.

Probably sky1 if it wasn't for the 8 hours of star trek a day..
Then emmm.. it's a touch choice... depending on the time of year i'd say network 2... it's the kind of channel you can watch any time

Channel 4 and S4C (the analogue version)

is choosing these very clever on my part or cheating? S4C is Channel 4 in Wales as silvera has already pointed out

Thats called compression! Its designed to wake up
slumbering viewers like yourself Caesar. The sound is no louder than the loudest sound in the programme it interupts rather the sound is engineered so its all at the maximum level.

    "BUY THIS NOW!" etc! :D

    Mike.

If you could only watch one Channel ?
... I'd just download any TV programs i'd want to watch, usually long before they'd be on TV over here.

    So no difference then :)

    Definetly Sky|One !

Sky One or UK Gold. I don't care how many times Gimme Gimme Gimme or Are you being served are on, still love 'em :D

Sky One for the most part is cack, but it's good shows are better than/sooner than most of the others. I would've voted C4 a few years ago, but we had to change aerials and the reception borders between rubbish and unwatchable at best.

i'd prolly say Sky 1 coz of all the star trek, scrubs, simpsons, dream team, malcolm etc...or N2.
