t68 upgrade?

    Hi,
    Not sure if this is the right forum, but anyway...I have heard that owners of the Ericsson T68 mobile phone were entitled to a free software upgrade- to the T68i, at a Sony-Ericsson Service centre.
    Is this still available? Was it ever? Does anyone have any experience of this?

    They did release a software upgrade to enable the T68 with many of the features of the T68i. As far as I know it was a warranty repair so depends if your phone is still under warranty whether it would be free.

    You could try Sigma Telecom www.fonefix.ie (I get my Sony Ericsson stuff serviced with them). Or The Mobile Phone repair Company www.mprc.ie may be an alternative.
