Recently I've noticed some "fancy" mobile phone aerials! They are designed to blend in with their local area.

    1. Two aerials disguised as trees in Marley Park,Dublin! Beside the road near the golf course.

    2. The spar in Milltown Dublin. The aerials are covered in a brick patern sticker!

    3. Not sure if this is an aerial, was told it was. The lighted tower on the M50, tallaght exit. Its made of rings of green light moving up and down.

What I was wondering is, what other interesting mobile phone aerials have you noticed? And wher are they?

The Mosque in Clonskeagh has one disguised with brick a pattern covering.

I wonder how much could be erned by giving an operator access to a site (I'm not sure if they actually rent sites)?

I'm so sad! But I think that these "hidden" aerials are great! I actually took a pic of the marley park tree!

Those two trees are made of metal!

had a disguised cactus pointed out once in arizona - don't know how practical it would be to have cacti dotted around the irish landscape though ;) we should stick to trees unless this fine weather keeps up!

found some pics on a site from a company in the US who do those antennas in cacti (i didn't take a pic at the time!) and other high points, they even disgusied one into a church cross!
