the absence of raul means real will miss their main threat - a major fillip for fergie and his merry men. but will it be enough? can they really overturn the two-goal advantage, without exposing themselves to more punishment? can't wait to see.

Even with Raul gone it's gona be hard. They still have Ronaldo up front who can be brilliant when he's up for it. Then for backup Real have the lieks of Morientes and Guti. They ain't any slouchers in front of goal either.

Sure they have a chance, but its not much of a chance imo. Raul may be out, but when you've got people like Guti ready to take his place, then you're laughing! :D

Real are certainly favourites but I think United do have a fair chance. United at Old Trafford when they have to score at least two goals is a mouth watering prospect. Real were at teh top of their game two weeks ago, if they meet United at top of their game on Wednesday we are in for a cracking match. I cannot wait for it.

a few hard tackles on real madrid top players and they'll be kept in their place!!! united to go through

United have a great chance imho. When they have a target to chase they seem more than capable of getting it. Real aint exactly on fire since they played UTD in the first leg, a 4-2 defeat to Real Sociedad and a 1-1 draw with Barcelona but those games with Barcelona are usually always close.

I think united have a chance, don't get me wrong, but i think that Paul Scholes will be missed more for united than Raul for Real.

Who are they going to bring in for scholes? Phil Neville? That is a huge player they are missing. While Raul has been Reals best? player in the CL. Mori or Guti are class acts and there is not too much difference in class between them and Raul

If Real score a goal at any point in the
game its over for Man Utd, and they dont need Raul for that to happen...

Raúl out means nothing. Réal Madrid is a team full of world class players. if they have one of their off days then of course Manchester United have a great chance of going through. they only need to score 2 and keep Madrid at nil. i think that if Madrid score one then it's au revoir to the Champions League for United

Yeah I think I'll just ignore that "lol". He isn't fully fit yet, he and O'Shea are doubts for tomorrow night. I'm sure we'll see them at some stage though.
