However things to note at this time , there were about 600 other people on the college network all downloading stuff and browsing and streaming music off sites like the launch

Normally I get about an average of a 7 ping ms wise to boards and a 15 to jolt. Just thoought Id share this with you.

using the ericson <sp?> modem provided then routed to a large switched lan,

Not too bad, but ingame pings in CS are generally about 80ish

BUT, at times the ping can be up to 600ms to the gateway server... and even more if you go to boards or jolt. This is currently been worked on, so should be fixed hopefully so these kinda pings will be permanant. Now i'm off to enjoy it while it lasts
