Can anyone tell me where I can get mobile phone insurance? Are there any websites you can do it on? If I were to buy a phone off someone privately is there any insurance company that would insure it?

Why do you want phone insurance? I wouldn't buy insurance unless my phone was worth over €200 and I lost on avergae one phone per year.

If you want insurance O2 or Vodafone will sell it to you. You might have to buy the phone off them though.
