I have just noticed two tests for BBC

    BBC TES 2 11750H 27 2/3
    &
    BBC TES 3 11750H 27 2/3

Could this be the start of the BBC's move ?

Are you sure about these frequencies? These are not Astra 2D freqs which BBC will be using. Nearest one is 11.758 which is a sky transponder

    :p:p:p

    I'm so sorry I meant 11720 H not 11750 H !

Interestingly though it is the same freq. the channels are on at the moment ?

Perhaps I should just add that they are both encrypted on the Irish sub

    What about

    &

No, both of those are the 2 of the ITV transponders, so not there.

My hunch is.... the BBC transponders will be between 10744 and 10832. Somewhere between transponder 44 and 49. None of these are active yet, so thats where I think the action will be. 10847 V , transponder 50 is already gunned up, the BBC use this for interactive stuff. The BBC need four active transponders on 2D, they have one already.

One more note, BBC Parliament will not be moving from 12129 V, as its free already.

On that note, I wonder if they'll bother moving the radio channels? Or maybe just 5 Live and 5Live Xtra?

Then again, maybe ALL BBC channels will move as there would be little sense in hiring 2D space and still hiring space on other Astra 2 birds?
