The Irish Times reports that Independent News & Media has held talks with a number of parties about a possible sale of its interest in Chorus, and at least two of the parties have progressed to performing due diligence. Independent chief financial officer Donal Buggy said the group's 50 percent stake in the debt-laden cable company would only be sold if a suitable bid was received. "We haven't received a bid of value," added Independent deputy chairman Liam Healy.
