squeling brakes

    hey all!! i own a pug 106 and recently i have noticed a loud sreeeching of the brakes when im breaking in the 10 - 40 mph range. While braking above this there is not a peep out of them. im just wondering what could be causing this. Any help would be appreciated!

    When did you changed them last time?
    You might need new brake pads, otherwise there is a special grease you could use only on the back part so it'll stop making the noise

    I've been told that after a long dry spell, brake dust thats normally washed away in the rain can accumulate and cause a squeal!

    There is indeed. It's called copper grease.

    But make sure that it doesn't go anywhere near the disc side of the brake pad!
