Suggest someone (possibly yourself, thats ok) for Mod of this board.

I'll consider the names and whatnot and look deep into the heart of the one true Cake and a name will arise...

    DeV.

Pick me, you won't regret it.

    /me raises hand

I would be willing to take the place of co-mod with the best candidate for the job unless the community has a problem with iteh.

For a fellow co-mod Id like to nominate PHB for reasons pointed out earlier.

Aye, Neo for mod in my view. He is a bang on chap.

    *ahem* Gwan, giz a go.

I'd be interested in modding this board, but if I happened to become mod, would you tell me what the hell the one true cake is :)

I suggested the forum, which, for some reason negates me as a possible mod. On that same thread in which I suggested it, someone suggested me as mod ... which was nice... :)

Now if I was asked to, I'd be happy to mod it (or co-mod it, not that that's really necessary), but if t'were a vote, I'd vote for Mark.

I dunno... I'm going to hang about on this forum anyway and contribute to it when I can. The subject is of much interest to me and I still look forward to reading more interesting banter here.

I'd suggest PHB.. he seems to know his stuff when it comes to History

    Yeah either PHB or mark.

Or someone who has made history websites :P (me)

    Bard should do it

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,910 ✭✭✭Washout

    Mark gets my vote

Although Bard has a good platform, PHB and Mark also do, and they have no other modding commitments. The last thing boards needs is any more "super mods".

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,309 ✭✭✭✭Bard

I don't agree that someone already being a mod should be a reason not to choose them to mod a board.

Still I vote for Mark. If there's a need for a second mod (which there doesn't seem to be as yet), then I'd propose myself.

All of the above suggestions are fine by me.

Hmm Its a bit like fantasy football this.

<<<My Vote Bard...He suggested the board, and had a fairly clear idea of the way it should develop.>>>

As co mod Either Truckle,PHB or Dadakopf

And so Boards experiment with democracy collapses amongst allegations of Gerrymandering and ballot-rigging...Just like real life.

    :)

I wouldn't mind, fascinated by history as I am.

[Edit] The Surgeon might be a good lad for it too seeing as he is an actual real life historian (with some paper to prove it), I don't know if he's online much though [/Edit]

actually, there should really be a system within boards where an experienced mod would help out an inexperienced mod, tech em so to speak, and advise em on modly calls.

    just and idea :D

    - Mark
    - PHB
    - Dadakopf

All sound lads, all of them know what they're talking about, 'nough said really.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,608 ✭✭✭✭sceptre

All above suggestions are perfectly acceptable (for a change!)

I'd suggest Bard and one of the other three as co-mods

("super-mod" isn't really an issue - the Irish and Theatre boards are hardly hotbeds of activity)

Bound by the rules of "Who should mod?" I vote:

    PHB
    Mark

Any talk of me being bitter is heresay and possibly "malarky". ;) .
