Was on last night (wednesday night/thursday morning) at quarter past one on tv3. Just wondering if anyone knows if they were just showing the pilot or if they've bought the seires.

Seems that a lot of people felt the same way Karoma cos' it was cancelled after 8 or 9 episodes ...

    god that sucked!
i don't know why they even tried tbh, the tick isn't something that can be transfered to live action, it belongs in the comic/cartoon world.

I heard good things about it, and its not suposed to be taken seriously

I don't think its possible for giant blue tick and a man in a moth suit to be taken seriously.
    The show was ****

It was ok, though some of it was very funny. Prob was not on this week due to the match (futurama ain't on either). Hope they show a series, nice to have something on late at night that I want to watch. Despite it be good or bad.

Why does TV3 always buy TV shows that have already been axed?*

(* This could have a thread of it's own.)

It was on again last night (Tuesday 13th May) at like 2 o'clock on Tv3.

Wasnt nearly as good as the first episode, which I thought was amazingly funny.

    Any

Argh, I fecking missed it again!

Its on right now. 1 oclock on tv3.
For what it is worth the first ep had me in stitches.
The charachters are great and the ticks one liner are class.

Btw the tick is the voice behind joe (BRING IT ON) from family guy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 878 ✭✭✭Bicky

lol.. some bits of that episode was great.
I especially like when the tick found arthur in the straight jacket and says "My god they have sent you back to the cocoon."
And the tick talking to the toilets. lol. when left in the room he turns to the toilet and says "how you doing?" lol had me in stitches.
As for it being cancelled, has anyone seen Action with jay mohr? A great watch, compelling and funny but it was cancelled after 8 or 9 episodes. Guess its just not what the test audiences want

it's something RTE often did in the past. Automan, Manimal and City News are three that come to mind. I guess they were cheap.

Saw some of it tonight. Have to say I laughed heartily when yer man was running around dressed like a moth to the theme from the Greatest American Hero.

Sometimes shows that only get one series are quite good

    Family Guy
    Bob the devil and God
    Freaks and Geeks

Ok so thats about all of them.
