Printer Problems

Right. I have an Epson Stylus 810 printer with a little annoying fault. When printing, Faint lines of black ink are printed down the page which is coming from the rollers. Can I clean these rollers, and secondly, why is it doing it? Can printers leak? I have now put in a new black ink cartrisge into it and it still happens.
