Updating help

I need help with my websites ( www.clan-veterans.net + http://teamuk.girlgaming.com ). Updating them is a real problem, mainly because im too lazy to download the text file that stores the text, edit it and then upload the new one.

I was wondering is it possible to use PHP or asp to add to the text file? So it does it like a log file or something? Use something like this that im using to post this topic to edit + add to the text?

You could use a PHP include statement to pull content from a text file, but you probably want something a little easier....
You could try Coranto http://coranto.gweilo.org/ which is Perl based, but allows you to output using SSI or PHP.
