lack of sound

    Hello all
    My pc has decided it dosent want to let sound out. It was fine last night.. I could play wav files and audio cd's but after some surfing last night it just stopped. Strange thing is My music apps are working fine (Cubase etc).
    Im using a Tascam us428 as my soundcard. Ive checked all the settings in the control panel but there all ok.

    Any advice?
