Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have some questions and I'm sure they have probably been asked before but if someone could help me I'd really appreciate it.

I currently have NTL cable ( bog standard with 15 channels) and i want to wander down the digital road, but i wanna go with SKY. I wanna be able to get every channel except the premium movie and sports channels.

How much will this cost me for one connection? I also have a second tv up stairs. How much would it cost to have two digiboxes in the house?

Thanks for any help I get

The Family Pack will cost 26.99 a month (includes all channels except movies/sports/disney and some specialist channels).

Second box will at the moment require a second full-price subscription. Plus you'll have to buy an unsubsidised box as your second box.

Theres two tv outputs on every digibox so you could run a cable upstairs to the other tv, but obviously could only have the same channel on each tv at once, and theres devices called tv links, at powercity for €12 euros that would allow you to control the digibox from upstairs aswell.

There is an Irish free phone number for Sky.

The cheaper packages than Family are very pooor value as they have very few pay channels (they plump them up with listing free channels such as Sky News, CNN, QVC).

    Value (Very bad value)
    Popular (not popular)
Knowledge (Does have a good mix of Discovery and Animal Planet, but curiously Sky1, Bloomberg & Music Choice). About 22 Euro.
