Hi Rander i'm heading to monza this year myself and wasn't sure where to sit so i was discussing a few items here that might be of interest to you.

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=91616

Basically i've found the packages very expensive and not worth the money for what you get, i think there circ €750 for a weekend, but to the best of my knowledge this is only includes a general admission ticket and a decent stand ticket would be a couple of hundred extra so your talking a lot of money before you even take into account spending money. As a result of this i decided to sort it out myself and the total cost including a good seat is going to be about €650. The only think i don't have is a coach transfer to the track.

My advice is to book asap, i'm not sure if this is just as it is the italian gp and one of ferrari's home tracks but i found that accomadation in milan got snapped up real quick especially the cheap hostels and stuff via USIT also all of a sudden flights into milan where gone with aerlingus for that weekend so book soon.

With regards to the tickets there is plenty of places on the web that sell them but as there third party or whatever they charge commission and bascially each stand ticket is about €50 dearer so my advice is to get straight to the tracks website and book from there where its cheaper. Other practicalities maybe looking for a race track that isn't a million miles away from a major city, milan was ideal for this as monza is only about 15km away. But the likes of magny cour and such could be in the middle of nowhere so thats something to consider.

Try www.gohop.ie or www.cheapflights.co.uk for flights, i think gohop do accomdation as well.

and i got my accomadation through www.octopustravel.com
oh i still have to get my gp tickets also i better sort that out but i found the hardest parts getting acommadation and flights as i left it a little late.

    happy hunting

I'm colombian, I love JP Montoya and I will love to go to F1... but I heard so many comments of people saying that you pay a fortune and at the end... you can see a ******

You have to bring a Radio to now what lap is going... (Tu parli il italiano?)
    Also bring binoculars....

I wish you the best luck and the best weather....

And let God help Montoya to win....
