SWG Beta CD nearly here

Well my Star Wars Galaxies beta 3 CD is in transit so all being well I'll be playing by Thursday. I understand that I'm not supposed to say anything about the game but if I happened to be playing it in DNC and people accidentally saw it what could I do.

It needed to download two hours worth of updates but it stopped after an hour and fifty minutes .... nnnnoooooo

So another two hours it looks like.

Is the beta tester's site well made? The one for eve online was pretty impressive although the forums left a little to be desired.

Ok I've downloaded the extra 200megs of the patches, created my character and gone into the intro area. So far so good aside from the servers seem to go down quite a bit, it is a beta after all. The graphics are very much like the screenshots on the website which I expected but you're never sure until you see the game itself. Just have to pick a starting planet now.

Well the only one I've seen Bria. Myself and a few of the lads are one Tatooine in Mos Espa, or lurking around the countryside nearby. So far so good... my biggest complaint being the servers go down every hour or so and then they roll them back slighty so you can end up redoing stuff a number of times.

yea , mine are in transit now .... i'm downloading it neway . too impatient .

gona take me ages on meh ISDn ... its 2.05 gigs of files .

can't wait to get into the game i'm sick and tired of taking on the beta chat app .

...... just found out we get two game keys our main one and a buddy one ... sweet .
