Only 2 hours by train from Dublin and well worth the journey!

Pennis Smith, legendry photographer with NME is having her first official exhibition in the Waterfront, Belfast.

Probably best known for her Led Zepplin work, and the cover of London Calling by the Clash, Pennie was at the opening last night, and took questions from the guests during a short interview with Stewart Baillie.

She hung around afterwards and happily chatted to all fans and aspiring photographers. She was wonderfully unpretentious (and un-technical!) and I hightly reccommend this exhibition if anyone is going up that way.

The exhibition also includes pictures of The Stone Roses, The Rolling Stones, The Strokes, Tim Buckley, Paul Weller, Marvin Gaye, Iggy Pop, Oasis, The Clash, The Slits, Pete Townsend, Bryan Ferry, Mansun, Ron Wood, Primal Scream, Devo, Marianne Faithful, Shaun Ryder, Gary Glitter and David Byrne
