Why can't i get the i-stream self-install package to work??

    I have installed the cd and everything seems to be working good until i click 'connect'. First it says "could not find gateway" before eventually saying "Timeout while connecting to network".
    What should i do?????

    First read every post on this board as the answer may be posted already.

    Did u follow the instructions to the letter?

    Are u convinced that your line has been ADSL enabled, did u use splitters, have u got a tel support number to ring in case of problems and on it goes.

    Are u a total newbie to internet or did u have telephone access before?

    U need to post all the things u have tried and then u may get a better reply. I want to do a self install as well but not until I know all the drawbacks and the answers!!
