Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Folks,

This is probably a silly question. However, could someone clarify that the Sky minidish will suffice for all UK channels if switched to Astra 2D. I'm in Luimneach. Reason is I'm going to take down my old dish which is connected to another digibox and put up a quad lnb.

    Thanks

I get just the same level on 2D as on the non-2D Astra channels. About 10db and 100% Quality on the PC.

Also RTE TV/Radio, Hallmark, Disney and a bunch of other channels (Flaunt, Scuzz) are using 2D.

    I'm near Limerick.

Sorry,I forgot one thing Tony. Is the sky minidish 50cm or 60 cm.
Just curious. I see the 50 cm footprint edge is just off the west coast. I suppose based on your previous reply though once you are inside the footprint you get 100% reception???

    Thanks

    Tony

I am informed by my installer that my dish is 65cm. If this is the case should I be ok for all BBc's on 2d??

    THanks

Jez, as watty said above, if you can get RTÉ TV/Radio, Hallmark, Disney etc, then you will be able to get the BBC channels once it moves.

From now if you can see BBC1 NI on 214 you are watching a channel newly moved to 2D.

If yoy ANYWHERE in Ireland and your Digibox works, you have NOTHING to worry about.

If you in Southern Itally, Malta, Cyprus, North Africa, Balkans, Greece & etc I'd think about moving though if you want BBC tommorow..
