Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just read on the BBC website that FTV - fashion TV has been FTA almost everywhere except in Asia where it was forced to encrypt after objections from the Indian and other governments to their exposing of bare breasts/nipples. Now they've had a fall out with one of their carriers and announced that they're going FTA in India:

FASHION TV CHANGES ITS STRATEGY FOR INDIA AND GOES FREE TO AIR UNENCRYPTED ON ASIASAT 2.
Paris Monday 5th of May, 2003.

Today after a hot meeting in Paris between Mr. Lalit Modi, President of Modi Entertainment Networks, and Mr. Michel Adam, President of Fashion TV; both parties agreed to disagree on further cooperation. This dispute will be settled in a court of England. Meantime, Fashion TV is unencrypting its signal on AsiaSat 2 satellite by going Free to Air. Fashion TV is now developing a new strategy and reviewing its options for the Indian market.

Not sure how exactly this station actually makes money, but I suppose if they are available throughout the world FTA then they're doing something right...

Supposedly it was one of the more popular channels among journalists covering the Iraq war. For the obvious reason (pay porn is probably hard to get over there). Popbitch did a little snippet about it.

I flicked past it a few weeks a go and there was a song in the background which used the 'f' word many times. This was at lunchtime. I wonder what the ITC think about this!

I doubt that the ITC have much to do/say with it as it is a French tv station broadcast (and I suppose directly uploaded from?) Paris. And they have some pretty good music most of the time - wish they had a teletext service where one could consult 'what's playing now' or something like that (the models addresses as well would be a nice +). Me likey FTV!

But surely they do since it is on the UK EPG?
