    Someone told me to type...

    timedemo 1
    gamemap demo2.dm2

However this tests your FPS based on your machine spec as well as the machine.

To just test the card, start up the game in single player, fov 90, hand 1
Wait for the explosions to stop then type "timerefresh" at the console. This will give you the FPS of the card itself.

    My card get's a 69fps!! :) woohoo!! :) But only 34 the other way :(

    Show off :P~~~

Well my machine is only a P200MMX Voodoo^2(does the MMX actually do anything?) But I'm running that in 800x600. For some reason 640x480 actually runs slower!!

: Wow. But your having prbs anyway aren't you?
: I get a similar fps when running in 640x480 for
    : some unknown reason.

You get this effect because the Voodoo chipset is
just too bad-ass. :) It's pipeline is faster than
your CPU can feed it, so in 640x480 it's just
sitting on it's ass waiting for the CPU, as it has
less work to do at this resolution.

If you want to stress the voodoo2, you'll have to
    get a high-end P2 or an AMD K6-2.

    Teeth.
