Dated 16 april 1999 I was shocked by how similar the talk back then is more or less exactly the same as it now.After 4 years and slipping further down the world rankings its enough to make a grown man cry.

T'would sure be interesting to get all of the political promises on broadband and related technologies and do a "What they said" and "what happened" comparison. I'd bring something like this to the attention of my local politicians!
