Just wondering if any of you have any experience with web filters. The reason I ask is that we run a small business (one PC) and will be purchasing a new computer soon. However I have noticed on the old machine that a certain employee has been "busy" and has saved quite a substantial amount of pornography on the old pc.
I do not want a repeat of this and so I was hoping some of you may know from personal experience (i.e. in business) what a good filter to use is. Preferably one that he cannot disable or circumvent and one that does not cost huge amounts of money.
Compatible with winxp business as well.

    Thank you.

You could setup a proxy on linux and get this to serve as your internet access point... squid on allows you to control sites via ACL lists .... mind you it isnt easy to setup but its free.

    http://www.squid-cache.org/

There are many others around there like net-nanny and other parental control software that would do the same.

Threatening people with the sack aint the answer with so many employee rights laws in ireland .... better off stopping it at the source first .....
