anybody got some info on san andreas yet?

itt'l prolly make an appearence at e3 if rockstar are planning on releasing it before their deal with sony runs out.
it would be nice for the next gta game to be multformat tho

San Andreas (if that's what its called) should be out on the PS2 before the contract is up... so that's befor the end of next year.

They have a second team working on the 'real' GTA4, for the PS3 whenever that comes out.

hmm.. forget where I heard this news, but that's what's happining IIRC. Don't think theres any gaming details out yet.

128 mb Rd ram.
Geforce 2.

Now these sepcs are a bit better than your work pcs specs and gta 3 was lagging in mine, it would run ok for a while but then in the 2nd level it was **** slow, i dont call that playable .

Play posted my copy today. Er yesterday (13/5). Hopefully I'll have it by the weekend.
GTA3 ran fine on this computer so I can't see me having problems with Vice City.

Finally i got round to giving this a quick one hour test.
80's style represent,the intro is really good,the gfx are nice aswell , but the best thing i can see so far is that it's not a ps2 port ( like gta3 )

,i was really worried bout that but my fears have been laid to rest.the motor bikes are hella funny to and the gun aiming is fine,i can see this being really addictive,the music is top notch 80's madnotes.The 'tempted by the fruit of another' song by sqeeze is a great version.highly recommended game.

O and testing vice city in vivendi ? yeah right pull the other 1.

Ran like a dream on my Ti4200. Smooth as a baby's bottom, 1280x1024, going to crank up the anti-aliasing even more see how that goes.

Lot of fun. The bikes are great. Kick the guy off the speedy-racing-bike type thing and crash into trees. Flying through the air

Just got it today at Smyths toy store for €40 with new loyalty card.:)

Looking at the specs it needs W2K service pack 3. Anyone know if theres any PC mags that have it on the free cd? Also anyone running it on a Radeon 9100 128MB and if so whats it running like?

Its OK. I just found a copy of SP3.

Was @ 1024x768 32bit colour dunno the frames but v.smooth , btw turn frame limiter off in the display options.

Got it today. Looks and runs great on my GeForce3 @ 1280x1024x32

...anyone know how to do a wheelie? it was just a matter of pulling pack on the playstation iirc... doesn't seem to work on the keyboard.

it's actually a damn handy place to save them, my bro is always overwriting my savegames in pretty much every game i have bar gta3 & max payne. it saves a lot of hassle if you have different savegames/settings for different users.

can someone give me some money/do my exams for me so i can play this game:(

yeah i was looking at it in smiths yesterday good price tbh.

But the minium PC spec was frightening!

800Mhc cpu minnium! PC games are entering a new erea with those kinda minimum specs. I rember not so long ago that 166mhz was the minium spec when the new pc`s at the time were running at 400 mhz!. This game recomends a P4 or an athlon XP chip to run it.

Though i still cant wait to play it.

You been in suspended animation for the past three years? :]

It just barely runs on my Duron 900Mhz, 256mb DDR-RAM & Prophet Kyro 64mb system. Turning off frame limiter definitely helps.

Suppafly, I have the very same rig as yourself and just got vice city and it runs pritty well at the lower resloutions. That said you have to have Service Pack 1 installed if you are running it on Win XP.

Running smoothly on 1024x768x32, draw distance at max and frame limiter off.
