    just a quick question.

    Does anyone know what the specification of this tape drive is? DDS 3? 4?

    I have to replace one with a compatible drive and I dont want to turn up with a drive that their tapes wont work in.

    its ok, found it eventually after a good bit of trawling.

    In case you were wondering, it's plain old DDS (as in DDS1).
