Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ah you guys rarely get thanks. Thanks for making unregistered posters appear on the front page top 20 posts.

    -edit. Actually in saying that I realise that to post as 'Unregistered' (the default option for an unregistered post) is not possible. On creating a new post on PI as Unregistered - I get a message saying that the nick is already in use. This may not be a problem as it forces posters to create a new nick (usually appropriate to the problem), so it may be a good thing, but I thought I'd let you know anyway.

    I was thinking about how to do that for ages, and then suddenly woke up from a nap on a Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago and realised I was totally overcomplicating the whole thing and made it go.

    And yeah, I think it makes sure they're all unique or something weird like that. Hardly a big deal, people can register if they want to keep a name.
