First episode was on 9.30 BBC2 this evening, written by the guy who was in The Royal family (played Caroline Aherns husband) he also stars with a bunch of familair "ooop north" actors. At first I thought I was going to hate it but by the end I was a fan...some exellent jokes which paint Mancs just as I would expect them to…

ah feck. i thought it wasn't starting until the weekend. Craig Cash was for me the better of the 2 writers on the Royle Family. Caroline Ahern really grates on me with the whole Mrs. Merton thing and all that
