Problem connecting to esat nw (IOL)

    Hey,

    In the last couple of weeks i cannot connect to my IOL Gold service using linux (wvdial)

    It dials and connects fine at the start but when it passes the username and passwd it comes back with %Authentication Failed.

    This only happens with my linux setup, I tried hooking up the modem to a windows box and everything works fine.

    I am using my UTVip subscription at the moment to dial up at the moment and there are no probs at all..

    Biddy at IOL says "we dont support linux"

    This has only become an issue approx 3 weeks ago.

    Happens with Oceanfree too (well its the same network).

    So does anyone know if IOL changed the authentication methods or what the hell did they change?????
