Does anyone else find it hard to talk to others about it? What always helped me cope was that it wasn't just me who suffered. I can't say it doesn't still affect me but it's so hard to explain it to other people. Know one wants to know...it just bums everyone out...what do I do?

if you feel the need to talk about it to someone who will listen, go and visit a councellor.
there is no point in trying to havea conversation and tell people about it, when quite frankly, they are not interested in listening.

by the way, why is this only for people who have been there?

Best to talk to a counselor imho.

I dont think this is a good place to have this conversation.... or indeed a good medium to have it through.

Can I prompt the original poster to see our links in the Charter/links thread on Personal Issues.

I recommend jo@samaritans.org email them for good advice and help.
