This is not a command - but a description of what I am experiencing!
I have Eircom SOLO for some time now, where the splitter was installed by the Eircom Engineer. The ADSL does not interfere with the phone line at all.
Yesterday I helped some friends set up the new Starter ADSL. Broadband works fine - but there is a distinct hiss on the line. I thought that connecting the adsl modem to the phone line via their filter would remove this, but it didn't. The line coming in is connected to a PABX. When I connect any phone to the system via a microfilter the hiss is reduced - but not eliminated. Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Ikomj
