lads,ye should all try playing quake2 with the hand wepon thing set to centre-
this makes it (a) easier to aim and (b) faster since the processor dosnt have
to draw your wepon moving - cool (read about this first on threshes q2 bible btw)

Your more right. The only advantage of the HAND command is how Q2 calculates targeting, damage. There's a whole description somewhere of how the hand's work.

No thats not the only advantage. If your right handed and do a rocket jump you go flying to the right. Keep it at the center and you can perform them perfect rocketjumps.
Its all about rocket jumps lads. Oh and set your fov higher than 90, humans are supost to have a fov of 180. 90 is like running around with one eye closed!
