HL/CS/DOD WinXP Not working

    Hi,

    I'm running WinXp SP1 latest HL/CS/DOD versions.
    GeForce 2. Latest Detonator drivers.

    Everytime I try and connect to an online game of HL/CS/DOD game attempts to connect and after the first attempt my modem hangs up.
    Sometimes I get a Socket error.

    I can play standalone HL.
    I can play LAN games of HL/CS/DOD

    I can play other on line games Quake/IL-2/Civ etc.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
