DeFoe for Man Utd!

Heard a rumour that utd were signin DeFoe this summer that'd be a great signing. Van Nistelrooy and DeFoe together would a very dangerous strike force!!

FFS RVN and me would be a very dangerous strike force. Any mediocre strikers look better with him around..

According to West Ham, hes going nowhere. They've rejected his transfer request.

Yeah but he handed in the request less than 24hrs after they got relegated.
I reckon he will go this summer. But I dunno if Utd will get him.

Can't remember where but I read ages ago that utd had first option on defoe should west ham go down. As a Utd fan I think they should buy him, as long as the price is fair, keep the big bucks for Duff

Defoe would be a good signing but it looks like Utd are about to press on with their interest in Ronaldinho although seeing as he woud rather a move to Spain or Italy, Duff, Kewell and now Recoba are now beinig touted as more realistic targets. Personally think Duff would be perfect for Utd. Him and Beckham providing service for RVN. Frightening thought. For the rest of the premiership that is.

Perfectly accurate statement. I was thinking that too cos Defoe is good and all, but he aint in the same class as RVN. But he is 20(21?) and he has loads of potential.

Ye they turned down his request but has that stopped a player from moving b4? Na...they will let him go, but if Utd are interested in him, they will get him I imagine.

Oh ye...did anyone else hear about David Bellion for utd?

And if Ronaldinho doesnt come to Utd, ill be pissed off. He is my favourite player in the world.

I'd rather see Duff at utd hes more used to the English style of play and he's Irish!! Verón wasn't used to the english style and he wasn't as good as expected. I think Ronaldinho would play way better in the Italian or Spanish leagues!!
