Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

PIN number blocked on FTV card

    Yesterday my kids used up the attempts to get past the parental control PIN number.
    So the card is now blocked for over 18.

    It is a N-Ireland FTV card. What is the story with ringing the telephone number to get it unblocked. Do I have to get my friend to ring or can I do it (perferred option).

    I thought it *eventually* unblocks again, a time delay.

    Obviously they didn't realise that by defalut it is the last 4 digits wriiten on card. Unless you rang Sky/FTV and changed it?

    Yes, as far i can remember, after a certain amount of hours, your card is unblocked again. Can't remember how many hours though.

    Have you tried unplugging the mains?

    What can be blocked with an FTV card + PIN? I tought FTV cards couldn't be used to subscribe to smut/other channels?!

    The card was unblocked yesterday when I returned from work.
    So no phone call needed.

    What got blocked was the Aliens movie on C4 on Sunday night. A smashing movie and I missed it.

    With the FTV card you get the smut channels (freeview only) so I do not want the kids seeing the freeviews etc. I am not sure about subscribing to a smut channel with a FTV card but I do not see why it wouldn't work.
