    Ulster Bank off two current accounts -

    1. Standard : No fees if kept in credit. Simple, no "bells and whistles".

    2. U-First : €8 per month c/w €320 overdraft facility and other so-called "benefits".


    Obviously, if you contact UB they are going to encourage you to open a U-First account as they will be getting a monthly fee out of you !

    Go for the Standard account - I did.

    Sure do you not know that they only make hundreds of millions in profit every year I come on they need the money more than you do after all the fat cats have to be paid their millions:rolleyes:
