OK so I FINALLY manage to get thru the firewall here in work. And the first song I hear is yet another How soon is now? cover version. This must be the most covered 'Alternative' song EVER.

I have like 3 versions already including Love Spit Love and Everclear.

Anyone know who this new version is by? Its some chick band.

I think the version you heard was most likely the one by a crappy band called Snake River Conspiracy.

Anyway, why not have a tangent :) .....favourite cover of a Smiths song? (not that any could ever truly compare).........

Personally, I quite like Placebos version of "Bigmouth Strikes Again".

In this month's Q magazine, tATu are asked how they feel about trying to live up to the Smiths and maintain the integrity and originality of 'How soon is now' to which they replied...

    'Who are the Smiths?'

    Stupid c unts.
