The power in me house went off this morning when i was working on my computer. When i turned it back on and started up the computer my monitor looked like this...

    MVC-012F.JPG

I think maybe one of the bulbs is blown. I can still use the basic programmes if i put the monitor to a refresh rate of 85hz, though theres still glitches, but if i try to run a game or anything back comes the black. The monitors less than a year old(so still under warranty) but ide rather not go through the hassle of getting it replaced if it can be avoided.

Any suggestions in how to fix it?

fcuk it! go get it replaced. i dunno anything about crt's but that
doesn't look like it'd be very easy to fix, if at all! just tell em you
switched it on and thats what you got. their monitor is faulty and
    you want a new one!

    I agree with woolymammoth ,

I had that happen to a few monitors (couple of years old)

Its dead, would be an absolute pain in de ass to fix.
(requires you to remove and replace the tube. (not for the faint hearted)

Its under warranty so just bring it back.
