    I know the names of metal bands with female vocalists have been thrown around in various threads, but i dont want to go sifting through every thread in the past 2 months on this forum to find them all :D
    so....
    Just looking for the names of a few metal bands with female vocalists, ive listened to Nightwish, Sinergy, Arch Enemy and, yes, even Evanescence :) and all of which are amazing. If you could throw a few names this way it would be much appreciated :)

    They might not be metal, but I can whole-heartedly recommend Skunk Anansie. I thought they were a brilliant band, Skin has a fantastic voice and also a new solo album on the way out soon, for anyone that's interested.

    Scabbia....that has to be possibly the <b>worst</b> name in metal.
    Other decent female vocalists - Yer wan from Garbage (on the first 2 albums anyway), Brian Molko from Placebo (heheh), bird from evanescence, yer wan Tarrie B from Manhole, The two sluts from Veruca Salt....oh yeah, and the bird with the braces in her mouth from Whale. Anyone see their 'Hobo Humpin' Slobo Babe' video. Meooooow!!!!!!

    within temptation. But they are pretty sad.
    I like the female vocals in a coulpe of paradise lost songs, like gothic, the painless and christendom.
    Id say amy lee has te best voice, but evanescence are just so soft, I want more metal.:ninja:
