SKY Bug

Does anyone know about a problem with the SKY EPG.
I have the phantom PVR, although i'm told that it also happens with VCRs compatible with SKY Autorecord.
When i choose to programs that are on the same channel back to back, the second one does not get recorded.
I happens about 50% of the time.
Can anyone shed some light on this, or is there a cure.
    Thanks

You should be able to record programmes back to back with the phantom PVR from the same or different Sky Channel. The PVR is programmed to provide continual recording without a break.

Try unpluging your Sky Digibox and video from the mains for 2 minutes to reset it. Then select two programmes from autoview (much quicker to select two programmes from the teleshopping channel list, as they only last upto 5 - 10 minutes).

If the above does not work, remove the PVR from the two units and reinsert and switch on.

I have had no real problems with it. Expect I was away on holidays for one week (its took only 1 minute to set-up 10 programmes to record). On my return only eight had recorded, however I did notice my Sky remained on, which suggested that error has been received from the EPG, to cause only a black screen. I am only to invest in a power blaster to avoid this problem, as it will automatically switch on and change sky channel resulting from electricity being switched off.

    Good luck.
