though they'll probably be pretty expensive anywhere you look...

they're pretty sweeet alright. although, if i was gonna spend money
(and by that i mean more than €50) on a keyboard and mouse, i'd
probably pick out the bluetooth one for tha simple fact(apart from it
being :cool: ) you can add other devices. :ninja:

I have the microsoft wireless setup (wireless mouse and desktop keyboard). Mat be willing to sell as I'm looking for totally wireless (keyboard as well). Let me know if your interested. About 3 months old.

Oh damn, is the one i have in the subject not totally wireless? Thats what im looking for too, do you know which ones are totally wireless? Is that the Bluetooth then i should be looking at then ye?

erm, unless Daveg knows something we don't, his post is a little
confusing. all of the (3) kits mentioned above are wireless.
keyboard and mouse. these use a short range radio frequency to
send data instead of the wires.

Bluetooth however, is a more advanced kind of wireless
connection, and can connect a number of various devices that are
bluetooth enabled.

bacause it's so much more expensive, you probably won't need to
get a bluetooth setup unless you're planning to have some other
gadgets to complement it ww)

and unless i'm going blind(which is quite possible for reasons i
won't go into), there seems to be no difference in the Microsoft
Wireless Optical Desktop and the Microsoft Wireless Optical
Desktop Pro but the name and the price!

if you're looking to pay the least amount for a basic(but still cool)
wireless setup, just go for the Microsoft Wireless Optical
Desktop.

I was offering to sell him my Microsoft black office keyboard and wireless intellimouse explorer .

I had bought this thinking it was completely wireless but the keyboard isn't so I'm looking to re-buy a completely wireless setup.

Cheers lads thanks a lot for all the advice and links etc. Thanks for that wollymammoth, ye the only differecne is the pro has a keyboard where its split in the middle and has a semi circle shape if ya get me? I dont know what the deal is with those things. Apparently its healthier(just like passive smoking right?:rolleyes: ) but ye, ill go for the normal one i suppose. Wont bother with bluetooth, dont have any bluetooth devices and apparantly wi-fi is taking over bluetooth.
