xDSL Microfilter/Splitter problem

    Quick one here....

    Basically when I dial out on my phone (sharing a line with my DSL router) people can't hear me but I can hear them? Any ideas?

    Also it doesn't matter if the router is plugged in or not , just when my phone passes through the splitter is when the problem occurs.
