eircom PPPOE software

    Hi.

    Anyone know where to download the official Eircom PPPOE software, the Eircom engineer didnt leave me any software,
    I have some I downloaded off the net but it is only connecting at 4000000bps the Eircom one connected at 5200000bps.

    ps. Eircom ADSL support said they would send me the software last week , but I am still Waiting. :)

    Don't think you can download it, try RasPPPoE instead.

    Probably won't make a huge difference, the client software shouldn't have an effect on the connection speed.
    RasPPPoE is a better client anyway, imo.

    I have RASPPPOE installed at the moment, it hasnt slowed down downloads Mp3 ect, but web pages are downloading more slowly,
    maybe I have installed RASPPPOE wrong :confused:
