On the off chance that you don't get any replies, you could always do a GIS (google image search) and work from that.

PS: I have no idea what you are talking about, I don't watch films.
    :)

    Das Ryat ,,

tis a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. There were two built by Premiere Studio Rentals, a leading supplier of vehicles for television and motion pictures.

One of these Mustangs was purchased by Tom Cruise and given to Cameron Crowe, as a Christmas gift.

dude that is one sweet car! cheers for the pics! must look into conversion kits for it. 5 litre engine is very pricey insurance even with clasic insurance!!

The base is a 298ci engine, or maybe 289ci I can't remember. There were V6s and V8s. The one to go for would be a post 1968 5.7l V8. There are also big block 398ci (6.3l V8s) I think. The newer 90's ones have the smaller 4.x litre engines.

Of course, the real deal would be a Shelby modified Mustang, GT 500. They had one in Gone in 60 seconds. Very very nice car. GT350 is also nice, but less bragging rights! Not that I would mind if I owned any of them at all.

Insurance isn't that bad - I was looking into buying one as a second car. That's how you get classic insurance. Over 30 years old = no VRT either. Was about 300 quid for me (age 25 at the time) to get a 5.7l one as a second car, 5000 miles/year limit. Call Carol Nash. Tax is feck all (50-something euro a year).

R/S Camaro is also very nice - especially with the flippy lights!

Or try this guy in Wexford (I think) http://homepage.tinet.ie/~pkanters/
Brings them in from Amsterdam. No extra 10% tax to pay for importing from outside EU.

It's a 67 Fastback - effectivly a clone of the car that was in the movie "Bullitt" (but that was a '68) Highland Green, and American Racing Torque Thrust D wheels.

    Base engine was a 200CI 6 Cyl.

From '64 1/2 to '73 the engines were:

    170 CI 6 Cyl
    200 CI 6 Cyl
    250 CI 6 Cyl
    260 CI V8 (only in 1964)
    289 CI V8
302 CI (replaced the 289 in mid 1968)
351 CI Windsor and Cleveland (slightly different motors; appeared in '69)
    390 CI Big Block "GT" V8 (1967+)
    428 CI V8 (1968+ )
    429 CI V8 (1969+)

And there was a supposed 427 CI option in '68 but no known examples exist.

That's just off the top of my head....

If I were brining in an American Classic, Id do it through Oz and New Zealand..

Its possible to get 1960's american classics from that side of the globe and some are even right hand drive.. which would make it slightly easier to manouver these beasts on Irish roads :)

Have as look at some of these sites

    Best of luck..

The one for 4.5k is a 1975 -a "Mustang II" Not the most popular Mustang to say the least. In '74 after the oil crisis, Ford completely toned down the Mustang to a 4cyl only, and only began offering a V8 again a year later.

"Ford Mustang 5L '75. V8, alloys, Goodyear raised white letter tyres, rebuilt brakes, many new parts, daily driver, Price: €4,500 Contact: 086 *******"
