    Former Cuckoo/Clearshot boys return to the live fray with a clutch of new songs. Emo a-la-Husker Du, chunky a-la-Jesus Lizard, poppy a-la-Pavement.

    Following 2002 tour slots with Ash and Hundred Reasons, JETPLANE LANDING are out on the road again and bring their 'Tour of Extremities' to Whelans on Friday, May 30th! The Irish dates in full are (these will be their first Irish appearances since their Café Stage set on the Sunday at Witnness 2002): May 29th: Auntie Annies, Belfast...Fri May 30th: Whelan’s, Dublin...Sat May 31st: The Savoy, Limerick...Sunday June 1st: The Lobby, Cork.

    The band played its first shows together in May 2001 in Ireland, supporting Czech band Sunshine. "Formerly the guitarist and bassist respectively with Northern Irish band Cuckoo, Andrew Ferris and Jamie Burchell have found plaudits and audiences galore for 'Zero For Conduct', the first album by their new concern.     They could be described as emo, but to place them into this one category deprives them of what is deserved...their music has so much more in it - the punk, the attitude, the aggression and, alongside the sincerity, is the variation between songs and the obvious intellectual aspect. They are constantly being compared with the likes of Pavement, Fugazi, and At The Drive In...
