Networking for dummies

    Apparently I'm the dummy in this case. I've 2 XP Pro machines and a 10mbit hub. two xp machines connected to hub as normal. on same workgroup on same subnet (255.255.255.0) and with ip addresses 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2. I can ping one machine from the other and vice versa but the bloody things just arent visible in "My Network Places" Well.. the local machine is visible, but not a hoot from the other one. I can even remote desktop into it using the IP but nothing in the way of file sharing.

    I know its more than likely something blatanly obvious that I'm forgetting, its just a pain in the ass. Anyone feel like making me look like an idiot?

    <edit>never mind, I got it working.. its just a bit on the wonky side. keeps screwing up.. must be cos I've had a few drinkies</edit
