Has anybody seen this error message? "The Security Account Manager failed a KDC request in an unexpected way. The error is in the data field. The account name was xxxxxxxxxx and lookup type 0x8." Has anybody seen this error message?

"The Security Account Manager failed a KDC request in an unexpected way. The error is in the data field. The account name was xxxxxxxxxx and lookup type 0x8."

It's on a DNS/WINS/DHCP 2000 Server running an an active directory domain.

The xxxxxxxxxxx is sometimes a username, sometimes machine name.

0
