O2 announced today their approach for presenting ringtones, games and content/services from a handset:
Customers to get active with O2

It appears they are just presenting separate services they already offer together in a graphical WAP portal/site like Vodafone had with Live!

They list out a group of handsets, noticed the P800 is missing from their IRL list (June UK, July DE), and no T610...

Looks like the vodafone live brand is working after all. Must admit though their marketing campaign is alot more effective than o2.

Its all well in good releasing o2 active but I hope they will have solved interoperability with Vodafone as regarding MMS, alot of customers aint happy at the moment.
