The UK government has launched a massive technology giveaway.
To encourage UK citizens to use the internet and sign up to - internet starter sessions - around the country.

The campaign is aimed at non-users, typically older people, those with disabilities or on low incomes, ethnic minority groups, the long-term unemployed and lone parents.

Technology companies including Microsoft, Packard Bell and Hewlett Packard have joined with industry partners to donate the prizes.
